Super Audrina

The story of Super Audrina from a Super Mom’s point of view:

“Born at 41 weeks, Super Audrina was 6 lbs, 15 ounces, and 20 inches long. She was just happy as ever when she was born. I was told at a young age I’d never be able to carry a child, so Super Audrina was a miracle. She was an angel from above.

Then, at her one month check-up visit, her pediatrician heard a heart murmur. We had to go get an echocardiogram. Afterward, we rushed to the doctors’ office to get results and found out that Super Audrina has CHD, Congenital Heart Defect.

Days before she was 2 months old, Super Audrina had heart surgery. They put a coil on her PDA. The surgery scared me, but it was very fast. Super Audrina was in the NICU for several extra days because her blood pressure was going into stroke levels, but now that she is almost one year old, she is absolutely thriving. She has survived all odds and surgeries.

Not only that, but Super Audrina is one of the happiest babies I have ever seen! She is one of the happiest, most outgoing, funniest, and smartest babies you could ever imagine. For only being 11 months old, she knows a lot of things and is very very smart!

Super Audrina loves music, unicorns, being outside, Luna the moon, books, bananas, and green beans. She is a daredevil and a sour patch kid! She has a security blanket that if you go anywhere with Super Audrina but without it, you’ll be very upset and so will she. But Audrina’s laugh and smile are just contagious!

Only God knows what’s ahead for Super Audrina, but I pray it’s nothing but the best. I have seen Audrina overcome weight problems that I didn’t even know was a problem. I’ve seen color come to her face and body that I didn’t realize was an issue. I have seen my two-month-old baby go from crying in pain to being a happy laughing baby. Not a lot of people know that Audrina has had heart surgery, but it’s important to always be kind! You never know what someone is going through.” –Super Mom Amanda
