Mindfulness: a state of mind achieved by focusing your awareness on the present moment. Our goal is to plant seeds of Mindfulness within ourselves in order to grow into our best selves.

5 Steps to Complete the Mindfulness Mission

Step 1: Create your Seeds of Mindfulness.

Create 5 seeds. You can print out our template below or draw and cut out your own seeds! On each seed write an activity you can do to grow in Mindfulness. Here are some examples: Take 5 deep breaths. Go outside, close your eyes and just feel the breeze for 2 minutes. Turn on your favorite song and listen to the words. Draw squiggly lines on a piece of paper for 1 minute. Dance like nobody is watching. Also, don't forget to add color to make your seeds bright and beautiful!

Step 2. Create your seeds of Mindfulness packet.

You can print out the template below or create your own seed packet. Decorate the front, but leave the back uncolored for now. Place your seeds inside the packet for safe keeping.

Step 3. Create opportunities to plant seeds of Mindfulness within yourself.

You can do this anytime! Try it when you‘re feeling frustrated or if you’re having trouble calming down. Take your seeds out of the packet and choose one to “plant”. To plant the seed, do the activity written on the seed you chose. Every time you plant a seed, color in one petal of the flower on the back of your seed packet.
