Goal for Play Mission

To grow through play, we are going to play with playdough! Playdough is a great sensory activity, improving creativity, muscle strength and fine motor skills.

4 Steps to Complete the Play Mission

Step 1: Make your playdough! (Or find some already pre-made playdough!)

Mix 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup of salt, and 1/2 cup of water into a bowl. Kneed it with your hands. Add in food coloring to make it colorful! Tap the button for video instructions.

Step 2. Play with your playdough!

Playing with playdough has many benefits. This sensory activity helps build fine motor skills, encourages creativity, enhances hand-eye coordination, eases tension and stress, and even improves science and math skills by creating different shapes and sizes.

Step 3. Take and Post a Picture!

Use hashtag #PlayMission and @TinySuperheroes. Make sure to wear your cape in the pictures! (If you are worried about privacy, you can post a picture of your playdough.) Post in our Facebook Group here:
