Our Mission

TinySuperheroes is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering children facing illness and disability by helping them discover their inner superpowers. Through the transformative power of play, we are not only building a nationwide community of strength, hope, and resilience—one cape at a time—but also transforming hospital culture to make every child’s journey one of empowerment. Our mission is bold: to impact 5 million children over the next five years, creating a lasting ripple effect for families and the healthcare system.

Mission Patches

Every superhero’s journey is filled with victories worth celebrating. Our Mission Patches transform clinical milestones—like MRIs, X-rays, surgeries, or treatments—into missions accomplished. Each patch marks a courageous step forward, reminding TinySuperheroes (and their families) of their strength, bravery, and unstoppable spirit.

Beyond clinical missions, families can also unlock special patches like Big Brother, Big Sister, or Sidekick—because every role in a superhero squad deserves to be celebrated.

Durable, colorful, and easy to add, each patch turns a cape into a living record of courage and resilience. With every new patch, the story grows—and the hero wearing it stands a little taller.

Want to get involved?

If you’d like to support our mission, consider sponsoring a child on our waitlist who is eagerly awaiting their own cape! By sponsoring a cape, you’re giving more than a gift; you’re offering courage, strength, and hope to a child facing illness or disability. Each cape comes with an official member patch and a welcome brochure that connects them to a community of guardians who care deeply for every superhero’s journey. And soon, you’ll even be able to share a photo and name, allowing the superhero you activate to see the face of someone who believes in their incredible powers!

Like Super Sabrina, who overcame incredible challenges and discovered her own superpowers along the way. Sabrina, a 4-year-old survivor of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), faced a life-threatening infection and endured multiple surgeries and treatments. She once felt fearful, but with her cape and badges celebrating each brave step, Sabrina transformed into a thriving superhero. Today, she proudly shows off her cape, inspiring others and proving that she is, indeed, a true superhero.
