What You'll Need

What is Braille?
Braille is a system used for reading writing by people who are blind or visually impaired. Braille uses tiny bumps on paper to make letters and words. Each letter of the alphabet has its own pattern of bumps.
A man named Louis Braille invented braille in the early 19th century!
Even if you don't use braille to read or write, learning about braille gives us insight so we can better connect with people who do! If you start looking for it, you'll find braille everywhere you go!
